Development today is focused on mobile systems for the on-site "manufacturing" and charging of pumpable emulsion explosives for both surface and underground blasting work. Society's restrictions on the handling of hazardous goods in general, and of explosive substances in particular, are changing, due primarily to the harmonization of regulations across EC countries, but also due to society's demands for the minimization of risk. This places new demands on us as suppliers of system solutions for modern rock blasting.
