Display Manufacturing for Avionic Applications

摘要

While AMLCDs provide distinct performance advantages over CRTs for cockpit display applications, it takes a considerable effort to achieve the requirements of superior image quality, operation under a broad range of environmental conditions, reliability, and safety. In this paper we will discuss the avionic display market place, display operating environments, general cockpit display optical performance/image quality requirements and various issues and tradeoffs in the design, manufacturing and successful integration the AMLCDs into airborne environments.
