摘要

This paper presents loss minimization analysis with the help of most commonly used DG technology with a contribution towards improving the power efficiency and voltage profile of the distribution system. The test system is understudied with single DG as well as multi DG penetration. The optimum DG size and location are determined using Jaya optimization technique. Load Impedance Matrix (LIM) method has been implemented for the distribution system power flow analysis. The load flow and optimization algorithms are applied to the standard IEEE 28 bus radial test distribution system and performance analysis has been evaluated.
