摘要

This paper proposes usage of multilevel inverters for control and management of load taking PV as source. The aim is to decrease the number of IGBTs and hence lesser number of gate driver circuits will be required therefore reduce the size and cost of inverter. The paper proposed a 7-level inverter with 4 switches, 4 diodes and 4 DC sources using SPWM modulation method. PV based control system has been used to operate and validate in proposed multi-level inverter. The analysis of the circuit has been done in MATLAB Simulink.
