摘要

Although voltage stability is a dynamic phenomenon it can be studied with a static methodology. In the conventional power flow, valid tool for this kind of study, the limits of the generators reactive power are considered independently from the voltage values. The use of this type of model which is used together with the conventional model for the load and other components, does not always give reliable results. In this paper, a static generator model which takes into account the field current limiter effect is proposed and it is compared with the conventional generator model which is used in power flow studies.
