摘要

This paper presents a frame rate-up conversion algorithm utilizingrntwo frame interpolation methods and adaptive threshold to generaternthe four initial frames. The first frame interpolation methodrninterpolates the block using the block co-located in the referencernframe. The second frame interpolation method interpolates thernblock using the half value of the motion vector in interpolatedrnframe. In this process, the occlusion regions are occurred in fourrninitial frames since the optimal blocks are only selected by threshold.rnHence, the four initial frames are merged in order to interpolaternthe occlusion regions. Finally, we perform the re-search usingrnthe adjacent pixels and the available data in the occlusion regionsrnto fill the occlusion regions. The experimental results show that thernproposed algorithm provides better PSNR results and the visualrnquality than the conventional algorithms.
