Terrestrial and aerospace solar heat pump and refrigerator development: past,present and future

摘要

Solar heat pumps for heating,air-conditioning and refrigeration are defined.Both thermally powered and electrically powered solar heat pumps are described.Development efforts of the past 3 decades are reviewed as well as the reasons for continued interest in further development.Terrestrial and aerospce applications of the technology are discussed as well as NASA's past,present and future role in the development process.Trends which give insight into future development are discussed.
