Different from previous analysis, the characteristics of received signals are investigated in wireless communication systems by considering finite wave width. The auto-variance function and corresponding spectrum are derived. It is found the channel characters are influenced by the beam width, it agrees with the existed model when the average wave width d is sufficient large, and the expected rate of level crossings (lcr) and average times under certain level (adf) have no relation with d.
