Utility of GPS Technology in Measuring Onospheric TEC

摘要

GPS (Global Positioning System)is an accurate global navigation and positioning system. The signals transmitted by GPS are information soources for GPS users all around the world. As the radio waves propgation is influenced greatly by the ionosphere, we should have a clear recognition about it. In this paper, the utility of GPS technology in measuring ionospheric TEC is presented.
