The radiological consequence analyses are performed forrnthe YGN 3&4 nuclear power plants located on the southwesternrncoast of the Republic of Korea. The source term profiles arernderived from the Individual Plant Examination results for thernreference plants and the ORIGEN2 code is used to calculate therncore inventories of fission products based on the end-of-cyclernequilibrium core condition. The population data and weatherrndata of the year 1992 are measured and characterized for thernsite specific data. Finally, the MELCORE AccidentrnConsequence Code System(MACCS) is used to evaluate thernradiological consequences. The result shows that the meanrnvalues of the individual early fatality risk and the individualrnlatent cancer fatality are 7.52′10-8/yr and 2.45′10-7/yr,rnrespectively. It also indicates that the steam generator tubernrupture(SGTR) sequence is found to be the dominantrncontributor to those risk among the 19 source term releaserncategories evaluated in the IPE of YGN 3&4 plants.
