The present paper describes a 13GHz gand LNB (Low Noise Block) which uses the integrative structure of waveguides. It includes a two-stage HEMT low-noise amplifier, a GaAs FET mixer, a dielectric resonator stable-frequency GaAs FET oscillator, and a preliminary intermediate amplifier. Using the integrative structure of waveguides, the LNB is characterized by low loss, good performance, compact structure, and small size. The experiment results show that the noise figure of the LNB is<=1.5dB, and the gain is>=50dB, and the frequency stability of the local oscillator is<=+-0.5ppm/degC.
