Intelligent Network Services A Vision of Personalized Communications:Terminal Mobility,Personal Mobility and Personal Communication Services

Personal communication services are person-to-person communication,controlled by the service user and personalized for his communication needs.The information flow from and to the service user has to be available under his personal communications number at the time,the place,in the form,at the device,from the originating source desired by him and at the rates arranged with the service provider.This contribution explains the evolution of mobility from a technical marketing point of view,how terminal mobility integrates with the personal mobility to give birth to the personal communication services.It analyzes the market needs and recommends an evolutionary approach on how to implement the technoloqical reaction to those needs.
