A PRACTICAL STUDY OF EMC-ASPECT IN ELECTRONIC-BALLAST : AN ANALYSIS

Proliferation of Electronic devices in present era has entered into every step of life. Electronic ballast, a coasumer product has earned a great significance in domestic as well as industrial environment because of its low voltage operation, instant starting and to some extent energy saving capacity. The study of EMC measurement and the analysis reveals the emission problem and its effect caused due to RFI generated by electrical/ electronic products. A typical case study on electronic ballast to analyse the EMC effects is presented.
