摘要

Ice induced vibration is a common phenomena for ocean engineeiing of cold region countries, To investigate the ice induced vibration on a compliant cone, a series of model tests were performed and some breakthrough progresses were obtained. The ice sheet before the compliant cone was found to be failed by two-time breaking in the tests. The process of two-time breaking could be divided into two modes, and the ice force will be acted in which mode depend on the general control of the ice and structural conditions. Two dynamic ice force functions were separately set up for the two modes of two-time breaking process in this paper The numerical simulation results had a good fit with the measured results, indicating the dynamic ice force functions given in this paper can fully reflect the real situation of the dynamic ice load on a compliant cone.
