A short discussion about THD and its measurement in ship electric power systems

摘要

The papers is to investigate seemingly a simple problem of THD interpretation in the wake of standards' definitions and measurement methods, intended for ship use. The consequences of two various definitions of the factor are discussed. Further, the real examples of the THD measurements in ship systems are shown. Finally, the consequences for measurement methods and design of appropriate instrumentation are mentioned.
