A directed communication mode based on relation matrix is presented and achieved using WinSock. According to KQML, one important outcome of speech act theory research, the formats of and performatives in messages, which occur in the multi-agent system oriented to the application domain of shop floor management and control, are made. So the important part of coordination mechanism, the construction of agent communication language, is completed. The identification of agents is also discussed. In a multi-agent system, agents are working in cooperation mode by sending and receiving I messages to and from each other. It's the communication mechanism that makes the agents can delivery messages from one to another. It's just based on coordination that agents can coordinate their actions to achieve their cooperation according to the messages delivered during running time. So the design of the mechanism of communication and coordination is very crucial to the whole design of the multi-agent system.
