摘要

In this paper, we present a graphical model and simulation of the chemo-mechanical transduction in the left ventricle, integrated to a simplified version of Huxley's theory of muscular contraction. Some improvements on previous models based on lumped parameters are made by introducing finite differences. The goal is to present a model with physiological basis, that can be easily understood starting from Huxley's theory about the mechanisms of muscular contraction.
