Nowadays, electronics, microelectronics and sensors are incorporated everywhere inrnintelligent systems. New designed vehicles are one of the best examples of this technologies'rnintegration. Today, it is possible for a car to find streets, to evaluate distances or torncommunicate with mobile user devices in an intelligent way. One future challenge of thisrnintegration is to foresee and to avoid dangerous events through electronic systems integratedrnin smart vehicles. This is the aim of the European project Good Route which has developed arncooperative system for dangerous goods vehicles routing monitoring, re-routing, enforcementrnand driver support, based upon dynamic and real time data. This paper presents thernimplemented protocol that describes the communication process between the vehicle and therninfrastructure within the enforcement Good Route system.
