DEVELOPMENT OF AN LNG RECEIVING TERMINAL PROCESS SIMULATOR AND CONSTRUCTION OF AN EDUCATION/TRAINING SYSTEM

Osaka Gas Senboku LNG Terminal 1 is evolving into a high-efficiency multi-energy processing facility that receives LNG, supplies natural gas, utilizes cold energy for diverse purposes, and generates electric power using LNG.rnTo achieve this objective, operators must gain high work efficiency to perform daily operations with a minimum number of crew members, and they are also required to have advanced skills and capabilities in order to efficiently manage terminal operations and respond to abnormalities and problems in the facility or its processes.rnAt Osaka Gas Senboku Terminal 1, we have developed a process simulator to provide effective education and training. Based on this simulator, we also constructed an education and training system and developed a method for quantitatively evaluating the learning level.
