Abrasive water jetting systems using the entrainment principle are established in the machine tool industry. However to date the application of suspension abrasive water jetting systems has been restricted to portable systems and niche markets. Currently being developed is a suspension based profiling system capable of commercial operation to show that it out performs competitive systems at lower costs and with minimal environmental impact. This includes innovative methods of automatically removing, separating and re-cycling the used materials from the cutting tank.
