In communication and radar applications, antenna is an essential element. Radiation with desired polarization is required for several applications. Wave guide junctions can be used for such purpose. In general, Tee arm is coupled to main waveguide of H-plane Tee junction through longitudinal slot. To produce vertical polarization with purity, coupling can be done by an inclined slot in the narrow wall of main wave guide, which also provide additional parameters for the array designer. In the present work after determining the resonant length of slot, the analysis is made to obtain conductance, susceptance, coupling and VSWR as a function of frequency and antenna parameters like slot width and slot angle. The results are numerically computed for L-band H-plane Tee junction using the concepts of self-reaction and discontinuity in modal current. The data presented is extremely useful for the array designer.
