摘要

The inhibition efficiency of an improved imidazoline based inhibitor on the surface ofrncorroded X65 steel in production water had been studied by using autoclave. The surface andrncross-section morphology and microstructure of the CO2 corrosion scales with and without inhibitorrnwere investigated by means of SEM. Mechanical properties of the scales were measured byrnNano-indentation and shear testing. The results indicated that inhibitor inhibits the corrosion of X65rnsteel effectively with an inhibition efficiency above 90% below 75 . The mechanical properties of the ocrnscales, including Young’s modulus, microhardness, shear intensity between the scales and substrate,rnwere not improved by adding inhibitor. Inhibitor inhibits the corrosion reactions of X65 steel mainly byrnthe geometric blocking effect of adsorbed inhibitive species on the metal surface.
