THE ELECTROCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF Al/Li ANODICFILMS BY A HYDROTALCITE PRECURSOR METHOD

摘要

Lithium element was introduced into high purity aluminum by a hydrotalcite precursorrnmethod, and an amorphous Al/Li composite anodic film was obtained by anodizing. The methods ofrnX-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopyrn(SEM) were used to investigate the properties of the film. Electrochemical behaviors of the Al/Lirncomposite anodic film were studied by means of potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemicalrnimpedance spectroscopy (EIS). The results showed that the composite Al/Li anodic film is morerncompact than the anodic film on pure aluminum. The composite anodic film showed higher Rp valuesrnand lower Cp values compared to those of the anodic film on pure aluminum. Both before and afterrnsealing, the Al/Li composite anodic films provide higher corrosion resistance for the alloy in neutralrnNaCl solutions.
