GUIDANCE IN THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PERIMETER AIR MONITORING FOR MGP SITE REMEDIATION PROGRAMS

ENSR Corporation has been designing, installing and operating perimeter/fencelinernambient air quality and meteorological programs for over 30 years. ENSR’s more recentrnexperience includes numerous perimeter and fenceline monitoring programs around hazardousrnwaste sites, landfill excavation projects and MGP site remediation projects. This paper focusesrnon and presents general guidance on the development and implementation of perimeter airrnmonitoring programs for MGP site remediation projects. It provides a set of suggestedrnguidelines for the development of a systematic approach to the design and implementation of anyrnMGP perimeter monitoring program.rnThe paper will focus on the following general guidance topics:rn1.
