Girders with corrugated webs and tubular flanges an innovative bridge system

摘要

This paper describes a recent study on the use of girders with corrugated webs and tubular flange members in bridge construction.The results of the study indicate that a significant material savings can be realized using this system.In addition,fabrication cost may be reduced through the elimination of some of the labor-intensive components,such as web stiffeners.
