Although both corrugated and honeycomb fiberboard pallets have been available for many years, it is only in the past few years that they have experimenced significant growth. The primary reason for this growth has been the environmental pressures from municipalities' solid waste disposial sites as wood pallets are sometimes refused entry to the land fill or a high cost is levied to do so.
