Retrace of Chinshan Nuclear Power Plant Major Betterments

Chinshan Nuclear Power Plant (CSNPP) is a two units General Electric Boiling Water ReactorrnPlant (BWR-4). Since the commercial operation of the unit 1 in December 1978, many plantrnbetterments have been implemented to enhance the safety and reliability of the plant. As arnresult, the performance of the plant is upgraded significantly. This paper is to retrace the previousrnmajor plant betterments, that can be served as references to other nuclear power plants.
