The application of high pressure waterjet for gas drainage in mine has been receiving increasingattention with the development of exploitative technology.The evolvement of micro-structuredamage of coal rock under high pressure water jet is a key to drain gas effectively and safely.Based on damage mechanics and rock dynamics,the paper analyzed experimentally the micro-structuredeformation and damage of rock as well as the impulsive effect of rock under high pressure waterjet.
