摘要

Pulse Ultrasonic Doppler method for flow metering systemrnhas being developed. The principle is an integration ofrninstantaneous velocity profile over a pipe diameter so that it isrnexpected to be able to eliminate installation problems such asrnentry length as well as to follow transient flow rate precisely.rnFlow metering principle by pulse ultrasonic Doppler method inrna circular pipe depends on the alignment of measuring lines andrnreflectors are needed for flow rate measurement using PulsernUltrasonic Doppler method, however, it's not easy to seed thernwater with some particles at power plants. On the other hand,rntime of flight ultrasonic flow metering system does not needrnany reflector; however, it needs profile factor for the accuraternflow rate measurement.rnIn the present study, application of time of flight (TOF)rnultrasonic flow metering system and Ultrasonic Dopplerrnmethod (UDM) flow metering system have been investigatedrnfor the hybrid ultrasonic flow rate measurement system.
