1. Obtaining the colours on leathers of any type is done by specialists, using their experience achieved in time; these specialists are known under the general name of "colourists". 2. In the last 20 years, computers and programs for composing and decomposing colours were very much involved in this field of activity. First of all they developed obtaining colours on textile supports and car industry. 3. Applying the program for analysing the colours COLORMASTER to the examination of colours on leather samples EUROMODE 2000 made possible for us to realise certain ovine leather samples for gloved background dyed with a very small tolerance in comparison with the standard (3.84%). 4. Applying the COLORMASTER program to the analysis of the colour EUROMODE 2000 - INDIAN considered as Standard has allowed for the realisation of a bovine bleached crust leather finished with finishing solutions based on acrylic binders and pigment pastes White and Blue BISON almost identical with the Standard. The tolerance making the difference is 1.91%. 5. Applying the program for analysing the colour COLORMASTER helps the colourist to obtain more quickly and precisely the colour requested by the BENEFICIARY, thus reducing the number of intermediary trials. 6. The COLORMASTER program allows for the appreciation of resemblance of certain colours CONTROL and SAMPLE objectively, while the uniformity of dying or of the finishing film can be also appreciated more correctly using the facility "Graphic representation".
