GPS carrier phase ambiguities consist of an integerrnnumber of cycles distance between a transmitter andrna receiver and a fractional bias due to hardware effectsrnat the transmitter and the receiver. In this paper, in-steadrnof using double differences to remove the frac-tionalrnphase contributions, single differences removernonly the receiver effects. The satellite effects are esti-matedrnfrom a globally distributed network of receiversrnused for GPS precise orbit computations. Once satel-liternpair biases are calibrated, this paper’s method al-lowsrnsingle site ambiguity resolution that takes advan-tagernof the bootstrapping of the network. Time seriesrnof the widelane carrier phase calibrations show definiterntrends. Because of the higher relative noise, it is morerndifficult to see trends in the L1 bias calibration. Thernultimate goal of this technique is to have an ambiguityrnresolution technique that can be applied during point positioning surveying.
