摘要

Firstly, this paper proposed a novel genetic algorithm, which not only can keep the population diversity but also has quicker convergence speed. Secondly, because traditional gray-level and color images enhancement methods are lack of intelligence, so it is very difficult to apply them to process a large image base. Our proposed method can resolve this problem based on combining genetic algorithm and gray-level transform. The experimental results demonstrate that the performance of our approach is better than traditional image enhancement methods.
