摘要

A CFD investigation of the flowfield features around microstructures on a supersonic slender body was performed.The results captured the formation of double vortices on the missile body.At a freestream Mach number of 2.5 and various angles of attack≤15°,the numerical predictions suggested that the effect of the pins was quite localized and did not prevail across a substantial region of the cylindrical body.This contrasted with experimental data. Further study is ongoing to determine the exact cause of this discrepancy.
