Study on Synthesis of 4-hydroxy-4'cyanobiphenyl

摘要

Liquid crystal has fluidity and continuity as liquid and has anisotropy as crystal. Due to the excellent quality, liquid crystal has been used widely as display of notebook computer and mobile telephone, etc. In this paper, we report the synthesis of 4-hydroxy-4'cyanobiphenyl, which is important intermediate of different types of liquid crystal materials.
