The system equipment configuration of a landfill gas (LFG) fueled biogas engine driven airrnsource heat pump was studied, and the process flow for collecting and purifying LFG was analyzed. Byrnestablishment of an experimental device, the performance of the system was tested. The results ofrnexperiments indicated that the energy efficiency of the system would reach the maximum when the biogasrnengine operated at 70%~90% of its rated speed, for the waste heat recovery rate of exhaust fume wasrnrelatively higher, although the heat output of the system was not the maximum. Compared with other heatingrnsystems, the biogas engine driven air source heat pump system can significantly reduce the consumption ofrnfossil fuels and improve heating capability, which make it an energy conservation measure to utilizernrenewable energy sources comprehensively.
