Mathematical Model for the Center Movement of Grinding Wheel While Grinding Cam Part with NC Grinder

摘要

Grinding cam parts with the method of numerical control has the advantages of both improving efficiency and quality. The key of this method is to set up a correct mathematical model for the center movement of grinding wheel. Based on theoretical analysis unified formulas was set up in this paper for different cases, such as measure with roller tappet, with cutter tappet or with planar tappet.
