Numerical modeling in the design processes of architectonic structures

The paper presents the chosen groups of the structural systems proposed by the author as the main structural systems in the design and construction of the large span covers and high-rise buildings. The lightweight structures proposed by the author for roof covers are shaped in forms of the tension-strut systems and they may obtain many various and different forms. In the paper are presented two chosen types of the systems, which are built mainly by means of tetrahedral modules with the V-shaped bar sets. These bars are cross braces and their segments create there the zigzag type of the broken lines in these hoops. Nodes of these rigid bars are suitably connected by means of the tension members. There are also presented some structural systems proposed also by the author as the main support structures for the high-rise buildings. They are of the very great space rigidity and they are shaped in the way, which makes possible to focus the resultant forces along the main members of the whole structural system.
