Shopfan: A Chinese Electronics Comparative Shopping Search Engine

We constructed a comparative shopping search engine www.shopfan.org, it collects electronics product data from simplified Chinese web sites, and after careful data processing, helps consumers to find the right electronic products at good price quickly from the web. Compared to general search engines, comparative shopping search engines are focused on finding products and their features, including price, manufacturer, product description, product categories, etc, accurately and allow consumers to sort on certain features like price and relevance to their query, they also provide a tool for users to select products from certain manufacturer or website. Currently, Shopfan is the largest among similar simplified Chinese search engines that are not dependent on data feed from manufacturers, and the simplified Chinese service is not available from Google~(TM), yahoo~(TM) or the largest Chinese-only search engine baidu yet. And we are in process to expand it to more product categories.
