In the field of electronics, many future technologies will be based on technology integration. An integrative technology is defined as a new kind of business lines exceeding production process flow to manufacture parts or modules in which mechanical and electrical functions are combined into one coherent unit. There are no standardized testing methods to evaluate new integrative technologies. An application specific approach for testing is required, in other words, the First customer level approach is needed. In addition, a customer criteria orientation in a technology development process increases technology management challenges. This paper introduces two integrative case technologies, and describes thinking behind their technology evaluation process. The FIT (From Indications to Technology) filtering model is created to help to identify all essential expectations towards a new technology to optimize a commercialization potential of it.
