Development of Transparent Bistable Liquid Crystal Display

摘要

The TBL(transparent bistable liquid crystal display) which has memory and transparency characteristics is developed. The TBL is a specially designed cholesteric liquid crystal display. The central reflection wavelength is about 900 nm which is invisible. Adding a TBL on a conventional TFT LCD, it can be used as a multifunctional display device.
