Different observations regarding glacier mass balance remain contentious in Tibetan Plateau.Combining satellite gravity with laser altimetry,we constructed consistent interannual changes in glacier mass in the Nyenchen Tanglha(NT),Himalaya(HM)and Pamir-Karakoram(PK).Reconciled mass budgets were presented within the smaller margin in each sub-region.According to longer temporal span (2003-2015),the rates of glacier mass loss decreased to the northwest but at shorter time intervals there have also been periods of accumulation. For example,PK glaciers mass gain over 2003-2005, and 2009-2011 mainly due to high precipitation in these years. Comparing to PK glaciers, glaciers in the HM and NT had more severe mass losses, especially in 2009 and 2012.Only if low precipitation and high temperature occur in the same year, glaciers in the HM and NT become gain or stop loss. The high requirement might be attributed to glacier accumulation regimes.
