One-dimensional linear coordination polymers of Cu(Ⅱ) Containing mixed ligands of 1,2-di(4-pyridyl)ethylene and pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acids bearing different secondary coordination donors
The self-assembly with pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (pdcH2) with copper salt and 1,2-di(4-pyridyl)ethylene (dpe) under hydrothermal condition gave one coordination polymers [Cu(pdc)(dpe)(H2O)]n·nH2O (1)with an one-dimensional ladder-like arrangement, in which lattice water molecules occupy the voids. It is noticeable that the compound 1 is also a 2D supramolecular framework built by coordination bonds and hydrogen-bonded interactions.
