Cell biology of the effects of hypogeomagnetic exposure

摘要

Geomagnetic field (GMF) is an essential terrestrial environmental condition which is difficult to be re-built in the aerospace. Recent studies have revealed that long-term hypogeomagnetic field (HGMF) exposure exhibited adverse effects on animal behavior,such as impaired learning and memory ability,reduced neurotransmitter levels,and repressed pain sense,and so on. Therefore,the health of astronauts is under potential risks due to the HGMF exposure during the space missions. However,the cellular and molecular mechanisms behind the biological effects of the HGMFs remain unclear.
