摘要

In this study the Exp-function method With the aid of symbolic computational system is used to obtain exact solutions of the Vakhnenko and generalized form of the nonlinear heat conduction equations. The solutions gained from the proposed method have been verified with those obtained by the Tanh-method and the other sophisticated methods. More importantly, we also find other new and more general solutions for these equations which are of great practical importance in physical and engineering problems.
