The present invention relates to a method for preparing a hybrid supported metallocene catalyst, and to a method for preparing polypropylene using the hybrid supported metallocene catalyst. The method for preparing the hybrid supported metallocene catalyst according to the present invention increases the content of the meso isomer by heat-treating the catalyst composition in the presence of an aromatic hydrocarbon solvent. It is possible to provide polypropylene, which can be controlled, and has excellent catalytic activity, in particular, the content of xylene solubles being controlled to meet desired mechanical properties.
