PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fetal RhD blood type detection kit and a novel detection method that enable detection of fetal RhD blood type regardless of the maternal genotype.;SOLUTION: A kit is for detecting fetal RhD blood type and includes at least one PCR primer set selected from: 1) a PCR primer set that enables amplification of a region on exon 9 of the RHD gene including bases corresponding to chr1:25648453; and 2) a PCR primer set that enables amplification of a region on exon 9 of the RHCE gene including bases corresponding to chr1:25696958.;SELECTED DRAWING: None
