Blood vessel abnormalities associated with an individual's brain can be detected by analyzing an image containing the individual's brain. The blood vessels contained in the image can be identified, and the density of blood vessels across the hemisphere can be determined. Differences in the density of blood vessels in different hemispheres of an individual's brain can be used to determine the probability of anomalies related to one or more blood vessels associated with an individual's brain. It is possible to generate a user interface that indicates possible abnormalities associated with an individual's brain.
