Smart Gait Simulator for Elderly Healthcare

The present invention relates to a smart walking simulator that overcomes the spatiotemporal constraints of gait and balance tests and gait and balance training, and improves usability by providing a 3D virtual reality space with high immersion and interactivity. The smart walking simulator includes: a virtual environment walking providing unit that provides an environment in which a subject can experience walking in a virtual reality space by walking in place; a gait analysis unit that collects and analyzes signals detected while the subject walks in place to calculate a gait evaluation parameter and a balance evaluation parameter of the subject; a health evaluation unit for evaluating the subject's health status based on the subject's gait evaluation parameter and balance evaluation parameter; and a gait training unit generating a program for gait and balance training of the subject based on the subject's health condition.
