To provide a manufacturing method of fake hair that has close properties to human hair for cutting and winding and such, is useful for learning basic skills such as correct cutting and winding and such in the hair dressing techniques effectively, inexpensively in a short time, and reduces financial burden to the people who desire to learn the hair dressing techniques by reducing the use amount of human hair, and to provide the fake hair and a hair dressing technique practicing tool.SOLUTION: Fake hair 10 is manufactured by performing shrinkage prevention processing onto wool yarn 13 mainly consisted of animal hair. The fake hair 10 has the wool yarn 13 mainly consisted of animal hair and a shrinkage prevention layer that is a coated outside surface of the wool yarn 13. A hair dressing technique practicing tool 11 has an attachment part 18 that is attached to a part to be attached 28 provided on a head model 12 in a detachable manner, and one side in the longer direction of the multiple juxtaposed fake hair 10 is held by the attachment part 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
