The present invention relates to a novel Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain used for the production of distilled liquor, a distilled liquor prepared using the same, and a method for preparing distilled liquor using the same. The distilled liquor prepared according to the present invention has very excellent sensory characteristics due to an increase in the flavor contributing component of i-amylacetate by using a novel Saccharomyces cerevisiae GNIA2 strain during alcoholic fermentation.
